What You Need Before You Start #

Before enabling hCaptcha, you need two keys:

You can get both keys from your hCaptcha account.

Create an account or log in here: https://www.hcaptcha.com/

Sign up or log in to the hCaptcha Dashboard
Go to the Sites tab in the dashboard and create a new sitekey
Get Site Key and Secret Key
- Get Site Key
- Get Secret Key
  Go to the Settings tab in the dashboard and generate your secret key by clicking Generate New Secret

Open the app > click Forms > open the form you want to edit
Select Settings -> Captcha -> Captcha type (enable hCaptcha) -> Theme (optional)
Click Save to update the changes

hCaptcha helps secure your forms by detecting real users and blocking automated bots or spam submissions.

✔ Visible hCaptcha (checkbox or image challenge)
Users complete a simple verification step, such as checking a box or selecting matching images.

Before the form can be submitted, hCaptcha confirms whether the visitor appears to be human.

✔ Invisible hCaptcha (background protection)
No checkbox or manual interaction is required.

hCaptcha runs silently in the background and analyzes visitor behavior automatically.

A challenge is only displayed if suspicious activity is detected.

Both modes provide protection against spam and automated submissions while helping keep your forms secure.
